Meet Our Team
Heather Robért- Preschool Director
I have lived in Leesburg with my husband Matt for 25 years. We have two boys- Ian is a 2024 JMU grad working in Sales and Marketing and Owen is a freshman at NC State majoring in Environmental Science.
I am so excited to begin my 4th year at Harmony Preschool and my 10th as a preschool director! I am blessed to work with an amazing group of women who share my passion for helping children learn and build their independence and confidence. One of the best parts of my job is meeting wonderful families and being part of their child's first experience with school. I can't wait to get the year started and look forward to making wonderful memories with our Harmony families!
Karen Cokain (Assistant Teacher 3’s)
I live in Leesburg with my husband. We have three young adults. Our oldest is on his own and will be getting married this Fall. Our daughter has moved away as well and is happily working in Richmond. The youngest is in his senior year of college, studying Meteorology.
I started out by helping in my children’s elementary classes and after three years of volunteering I was hired by a preschool in Leesburg. I worked there as an assistant in one of the four-year-old classes for eight years. I was also the arts & crafts teacher for five of those years for both the three-year-old and four-year-old classes. I have assisted in a self-contained K-2 autism class for LCPS. I enjoy watching the children develop & grow throughout the year; discovering Gods world through their eyes is wonderful.
Faith Gresens (Lead Teacher 3's)
My name is Faith Gresens and I am so excited to be joining the team at Harmony Preschool! I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and over fifteen years of experience in various preschool
environments. My philosophy on early childhood education is to meet each child where they are and to foster their natural curiosity as they explore the world around them. I am a strong advocate for the phrase “it takes a village to raise a child”. We are all a part of a team to ensure that each child reaches their fullest potential.
I have lived in Leesburg with my husband and daughter since 1998. My hobbies are being out in nature, writing, reading, and singing. I look forward to being a part of Harmony Preschool
and getting to know each of you.
Tina Loveless (Lead Teacher older 2's/3's)
I have been married for 36 years. I live in Lincoln, Va where I love spending time in my garden and being with my chickens. I have studied early childhood education and have 20 years of experience in the public school system where I worked within the special education department.
Leslie Morrissette (Lead Teacher Pre-K 4's)
I am a Northern Virginia native and have lived in Hillsboro for 8 years. Combined, my husband and I have 5 children - 4 adults who live in VA & CO, and our youngest is a junior at Woodgrove HS. We also have 2 dogs.
I have an AA in Early Childhood Education, and 10 years of teaching experience. This is my 4th year at Harmony Preschool, and I am so grateful to be part of such a talented team. My students make me smile every day, and my goal is to teach them new skills and help build their confidence. Thank you for sharing your children with us!
Susan Pryes (Assistant Teacher 4’s)
I live in Hamilton with my husband John of 23 years; we have two children John 18 and Kelly Mae 15 and our two dogs, Jeter and Rita. John is a freshman at Michigan State and Kelly Mae is a sophomore at Loudoun Valley High School.
This is my 9th year at Harmony Preschool. I have a BS in Business Administration from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, NC. I enjoy reading, playing games, being outside and spending time with my family. At Harmony my favorite is watching the children’s faces light up when they learn something new and fun!
Cathy Tilghman (Music Teacher, Older 2's/3's Assistant Teacher)
I grew up in Leesburg and am still there! I attended both Shenandoah U. and Old Dominion U., receiving a BS in Nursing. I went on to work at Loudoun Hospital. After getting married I took a long break to be at home with our kids. Together with my husband we have 8. It may go without saying, I love children and am always excited to have more each year at Harmony Preschool! This will be my 3rd year and can’t wait for it to start. When I am not at Harmony UMC, I am often busy at my home church at Leesburg UMC. I love being in the flower garden, singing in choirs, and spending time with my family and pets (two dogs and a cat). I look forward to both my time assisting in the classroom as well as leading the children in music, where we will be sure to enjoy singing, dancing and having lots of fun!
